All students and staff can use work areas (you'll need your University card to access most of them). Staff can book some work areas for teaching. All work area computers are connected to the internet, University network, work area printers and Library catalogue. They run Windows 7 and have Microsoft Office installed (except A0.01 in Mathematics and Statistics, which runs SUSE Linux).
Most work areas are open during building opening times. Some are open 24 hours a day, Rooms R0.39 and R0.41 in the Library, Room S2.74 in Social Sciences, Room A0.01, A0.02 and A0.03 in Mathematics and Statistics.
